Provide sink sizes, washing tasks, drainage needs, drying methods, and expected glassware or vessel dimensions rather than selecting sinks from appearance alone.

Give instruments stable, serviceable positions

Record operating weight, heat, vibration sensitivity, service connections, sample access, consumable handling, maintenance panels, and replacement routes for each instrument.

Where microbiological control, local extraction, temperature, humidity, or other environmental conditions matter, the responsible specialists must define those conditions before the furniture interface is confirmed.

Organize storage around stock responsibility

Separate daily consumables, clean glassware, reference materials, retained samples, records, cleaning supplies, personal items, and waste-related items according to access and replenishment responsibility.

Temperature-controlled, hazardous, flammable, or otherwise regulated storage should be specified as a distinct requirement rather than assumed to be a standard cabinet option.
